Review of smarter E Europe / Intersolar 2022

The mood and the weather were perfect at this year's Intersolar trade fair in Munich from 11 May to 13 May 2022. 1,356 exhibitors in twelve exhibition halls with 132,000 square metres of exhibition space presented new products and services on the topics of solar energy, energy storage, digital grids as well as electromobility. The demand was huge, because many building owners now want to implement their projects.
CITEL exhibited its new 50 square metre stand in Hall 65. A modern design combined with a clear product presentation and plenty of space for technical discussions confirmed the expectations placed in the concept.
There was great interest in the innovations within the extensive product range. The unique VG technology again attracted special attention, as it ensures not only high safety but also economical operation and a long service life.

CITEL EV-Box - The ideal safety module for electromobility

With the new EV-Box, we are addressing those planners and electrical installers who want to quickly and easily retrofit wallbox systems and surge protection. Another application is wallboxes that are still under warranty, because opening the box will inevitably damage the warranty seal.
As usual from CITEL, planning and installation is simple and trouble-free, as this EV box is mounted in series to the wallbox. The devices are housed in a robust small distribution board. The surge protection type 2 and type 3 has a low protection level and this in both common- and differential-mode.

Personnel reinforcement in export

New to Mirko Harbott's sales team at CITEL in Bochum is Mr Christian Sunkel.
He is married and father of a daughter. Due to his many years of sales experience, also in the solar industry, he was there for the customers at the CITEL stand during the entire Intersolar trade fair. In addition to sales, he was actively involved in the electrical planning.
His main areas of activity are in the countries of the Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. His main task is to establish CITEL on the market as a solution provider for innovative lightning and surge protection.

Our webinars - and you're up to date on photovoltaics

Politicians have set ambitious goals for saving energy in homes and buildings. The expansion of photovoltaic systems is an extremely important building block here.
CITEL offers innovative solutions to achieve optimal protection of the systems. To provide its customers with everything they need to know about technology and applications, CITEL offers technically based webinars.
Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Schneider from Product Management will give a 60-minute presentation on solution-oriented examples and their implementation based on current standards.

The topics have been prepared, are easy to understand and immediately applicable in practice. The relevant DIN/EN regulations are also explained in detail. Various practical examples illustrate the simple planning and installation.
