With the GAK3-XS series generator junction boxes, CITEL offers a solution for protecting photovoltaic systems against the effects of lightning and overvoltage. The GAK3-XS series is designed to protect 3 MPP trackers and maximum system voltages (Ucpv) up to 1200 Vdc. Depending on the configuration, the GAK3-XS is optimised for PV systems on buildings in lightning protection class III/IV with ≥ 4 down conductors according to Table 2, VDE 0185-305 Supplement 5, Fpr TS 50539-12 : 2013 and ground-mounted PV systems.
