With the generator junction boxes of the GAK2 series, CITEL offers a solution to protect photovoltaic systems of any kind against the effects of lightning and overvoltages. The GAK2 series is designed to protect 2 MPP trackers and maximum system voltages (Ucpv) up to 1200 Vdc. Depending on the configuration, the GAK2 meet the normative requirements for all types of buildings with or without external lightning protection system up to lightning protection class I (Iimp = 12.5 kA / pole (10/350)) and are also available in versions with string fuses and disconnectors.
